The Discovery Phase
It starts with discovery. Immersing myself in your business -- its purpose, goals, culture and environment. Getting to know you and your people, and understanding what's working and what isn't.
The process typically takes two to three weeks. At the end of which I'll present you with my findings and a prioritised list of recommendations.
How We Work Together
Before we scope any work, we agree the desired outcomes and establish clear KPIs to measure progress against. That keeps us both honest throughout the engagement and ensures the work is always tied to what actually matters to your business.
Once we've agreed the roadmap, I'll provide you with a clear estimate of both the budget and the time required -- yours, your team's, and mine -- to deliver each element.
I'll recommend check-in points and milestones so we can ensure we're moving in the right direction and tracking towards the right outcomes.
We'll also agree the optimum working model -- typically a combination of onsite and remote -- and establish clear rules of engagement with your leadership team throughout.
How We Measure Success
What success looks like will vary depending on the size and complexity of your business, the existing communications infrastructure, any language or cultural considerations, and of course budget. That's why agreeing clear KPIs at the outset -- and prioritising the activities that will have the biggest impact -- is critical.
Setting milestones along the way allows us to evaluate progress, identify what's working and what isn't, and make course corrections where needed.
It's also worth saying: the most successful engagements are the result of the right combination of content, channels, and genuine commitment from leadership teams to the execution of the programme. UC can build the strategy and the framework -- but the leaders who bring it to life make the difference.
What Happens at the End
At the end of each phase, or on completion of the full engagement, I'll debrief you and your leadership team -- sharing results, identified trends, key learnings, and any final recommendations.
From there, we can either discuss next steps and follow-on work, or I can hand the reins over to an appointed member of your team.
My objective throughout is to ensure that by the time I exit, you have the strategy, the skills, the tools, and the measurement framework to carry it forward confidently -- with or without me.
